KONE Corporation

KONE is a global leader in innovative and eco-efficient solutions for managing the smooth flow of people and goods through buildings. KONE elevators, escalators, and moving walkways form an integral part of many of the world's architectural landmarks. This company visit takes place at KONE's Tytyri Elevator R&D Centre. In a working limestone mine visitors get to descend over 300 meters underground in the tallest elevator test shaft in the world, designed to test high speed elevators at speeds of up to 17m/s. A tour of the underground mine museum is included in the visit. Kindly note that the return transportation arrives at the Hotel Crowne Plaza at 19.00.
